Boston A guide to peptide care

Prepare your questions

What would you like to ask next?

You have a few questions, but worry you will lose track once the conversation starts. Pick the ones that matter most to you. Leave room for the clinician to explain the answers.

Bring your own agenda

You do not have to begin with a drug name. You can begin with your concern, the change you hope for, and the parts you want explained.

The Federation of State Medical Boards gathers medical boards into one group. Its guidance helps describe care standards; it is not itself a state law.

The group’s May 2026 guidance says that simply picking a medicine from a list on a website is not a proper care assessment. Patients must also be able to put questions to the clinician.

Compounded means that a pharmacy or doctor prepares the medicine to order.

Choose the questions you want to ask

The person
The medicine
The plan and the bill

Ask for an answer that makes sense to you

Try asking the clinician to describe the next step, who is responsible for it, and how you can reach them. If a reply leaves you unsure, it is reasonable to ask again.

This list stays in the page while it is open. The save button creates a text file on your device; it does not send your choices to a care service.
