Boston A guide to peptide care

Care and caution

What would make you pause?

A page asks you to decide quickly, but some of your basic questions still have no answer. Set the page aside for a moment. Can you name the clinician, the medicine and the pharmacy?

Look for answers you can verify

The FTC is the Federal Trade Commission, a US agency that deals with misleading business practices.

The Food and Drug Administration, or FDA, lists a missing prescription requirement and a missing licensed pharmacist among signs of an unsafe online pharmacy.

FDA guidance checked September 26, 2026 also treats claims that compounded drugs are approved or equivalent to approved products as misleading.

For a compounded drug, a pharmacy or doctor prepares the medicine to order.

Ask for a clear response to each point. Compare that response with the state record and the official product information.

Keep price in the wider picture

Implausible discounts are an FDA warning sign; price by itself cannot show that something is wrong.

Legitimate cash offers can differ sharply from a published list price, according to the price records checked September 26, 2026.

It is more useful to put the price beside the unanswered care questions. Is there an assessment? Can you identify the pharmacy? Is someone available after the medicine arrives?
