Boston A guide to peptide care

Care and caution

Where can you raise a concern?

You have asked about a problem and the reply has not resolved it. It may help to put the issue in writing. What happened, who was involved, and which record or message shows it?

Choose the route that matches the concern

Send a complaint about a doctor to the Massachusetts medicine board for review.

Doctor: medicine-board complaint route

For a nurse or nurse practitioner, the nursing board has its own complaint form.

Nurse: nursing-board complaint route

For a complaint about a pharmacy, pharmacist or physician assistant, use the form on the state’s health-professions complaint website.

Pharmacy or physician assistant: state complaint route

For misleading sales or a business dispute, the Massachusetts Attorney General accepts consumer complaints.

Business conduct: consumer complaint route

Keep a plain account of what happened

You can gather messages, receipts, the product label and your notes about the exchange. Read the form before sending it, and keep a copy for yourself.

The state’s health-professions complaint website needs a separate form for each person or business. If your complaint is about both a pharmacy and a pharmacist, send a form for each. You cannot reopen a form to change it after sending it.

A medicine problem has another reporting route

Patients can also report medicine problems through MedWatch, the Food and Drug Administration’s reporting service.
