Name the finished medicine

In federal records checked September 26, 2026, semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) appears in approved products that include tablets and injections.
FDA records checked September 26, 2026 also list approved tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound) injections. The approved uses differ by product.
Ask which exact product is proposed and which part of its label relates to your goal. A label is the official information that comes with the medicine.
A medicine’s identifying code does not prove approval
In the FDA’s medicine list, a product is identified by a code called an NDC. That code does not show that the FDA has approved the product, according to guidance checked September 26, 2026.
If a page points to a code, ask to see the actual approval record and product label. Do the ingredient, form and product name match the offer?
- What is the full product name?
- Which use on its label relates to my care?
- Is the offered medicine ready-made by the drug company or made to order by a pharmacy?
